That, at least, was completely worth every cent and every minute. Getting to see the 2017 total solar eclipse on August 21 is a memory to cherish for a lifetime. It was also a good time enjoying the scenery and scouting out various cities to see where I might like to move, as well as revisiting some fun places. Thanks to the smoke, didn't make it back to Crater Lake, but I really hope I'll be back in Oregon "soon."

As for September...it will be another interesting month. As of today, I am both carless and uninsured, so no driving for me until God gives me direction (and money!). I will certainly appreciate a break after all my driving in Oregon! What I'm not anticipating is being stuck near home during autumn color, unable to visit my favorite parks.
I hope to keep struggling ahead with my current story, and my wonderful editor will start reviewing the third Geren book later in the month. Triune is still in limbo; still waiting on God.
I've very curious to find out what happens next...
