Dogged December

Quite a close to 2015. Landed back in Minnesota shortly after midnight on the first, and not having to go to work until the seventh proved a huge blessing. I could spend a lot of time home with Shado, and I also made good use of that time between editing, my calendar project, and later some writing.

It was a quiet Christmas at home this year, feeling very blessed over how amazingly well Shado is doing. It would have been very sad to come home and then say goodbye only a few days later, or around the holidays. But he's still with me!

Very pleased that I was finally able to get my first Geren book wrapped up, and getting down to the dregs with that huge project freed up more time for writing in my first Triune novel. And while I didn't actually get the eBook files complete until January 3rd, I am counting the Geren book 1 revisions complete with this post. Whew, at LAST!

Dec 1 - Premature return home
Dec 12 - Finished 'Joy in the Journey' 2016 calendar project
Dec 13 - Finished chapter 10 of 'DWoT'
Dec 26 - Sixth apheresis donation of 2015
Dec 27 - Finished chapter 11 of 'DWoT'
Dec 29 - Finished chapter 12 of 'DWoT'

As for January, I hope to keep at it with writing the first Triune book, kick off a celebratory art project, and get the ball rolling with revisions for the second Geren book. Hopefully, now that I have my strategy and reference spreadsheets all worked out, with helpful software and books already purchased and used, I'll be a little more efficient with book 2. But time will tell!
