'Never Alone' is my two-months-in-the-making celebration picture for finishing the five Geren books. More symbolic than literal, and based off the last words of the last chapter in the last book. I wanted to go all out, and make it large enough that I can get it printed to hang on my wall. But I also made a smaller, rather different looking version to share online. My own version is 'upside down' since I don't want to be getting a crick in my neck looking a Geren and t'DoL together upside down all the time!
I also had fun with symbolism in making the picture. Not only the symbolism of the reflection--the true versus the apparent, but with the flowers I included. This website is a priceless reference for such things.
Forget-Me-Not: True love, Forget me not
Had to have those as well for the lovely blue color, that goes with Geren.
Lily of the Valley: Return of happiness
These are slightly out of season, because they bloom in spring, not summer, but the meaning was so utterly perfect for the picture that I had to include them.
Dog Rose: Pleasure and pain. Rose, Pink: Friendship, Happiness
Pink Dog Rose blossoms also fit wonderfully, though not very many flowers show up in the image.
I'm very grateful I don't hate the sight of it after struggling with it for two months!
