Maddening May
Moral of the month: don't finish a novel and get a new pc around the same time! Ugh, but all my time was devoured between final edits and new pc stuff, as my pathetic list below makes clear. If it weren't for getting started on 'Tarek,' I wouldn't have a word of writing to my credit for this month. As it is, my 2011 ytd word totals are pretty stinky, though at least I'm past 50k.

May 12 - Second whole blood donation of 2011
May 21 - Finished illustration for 'Apple-Grower'
May 22 - Finished 'Mountains in the Sky' summer header for shout_of_joy
May 28 - Made Geren sidebar image for hyarmi_records
May 29 - Started writing 'The Restoration of Tarek'

As for June, won't be getting much done this month either. Summer's rolling in, and I have a trip coming up: my mom, her friend Cindy, and myself will be visiting Yosemite, Sequoia, and King's Canyon National Parks in the middle of June right before my birthday (our last trip together was to Glacier National Park in 2005). So wrapping up book 5 edits, hopefully finishing 'Tarek,' working on my book 5 celebration picture, and getting ready for and taking my trip will probably be all I get done in June.

At least you got things done in May. I didn't get very far with my projects. I did get the 2nd round of edits done on one of my novels though.

I hope you have a wonderful trip. Those are all beautiful places that I've always wanted to visit myself. *hugs*

Well, something's always better than nothing!

Thanks! I'm looking forward to being well this time. My first visit to Sequoia I had a horrible cold and no sense of smell, so it never felt quite real to me, and my first trip to Yosemite was in my major depression year, so I couldn't comprehend much. Sure hope this time is much better!
