Mad May
Another crazy busy May, though at least this one was less from the job and more with personal tasks. Notwithstanding the crappy weather over Memorial Day weekend, I had a fabulous month for getting out to parks and the MN Arboretum, as well as driving halfway across Wisconsin for an art fair. Got the garden planted as well--all that remains is installing the morning glories once they're big enough to start vining, and adding mulch once it stops raining so much. Also glad that the drought my area has been under has gotten a big kick in the teeth with all the rain of late.

Very pleased with the amount of progress I made with Geren book 1 passes 3 and 4, and my progress with craft projects on top of everything else going on. I didn't get to do any story writing or art (again), but at least I'm in a much better place to have a good shot at both come July.

And look, a tiny accomplishments list!

May 14 - Finished 'The Avalorn and the Farmer's Daughter' (ballad lyrics)
May 23 - Second apheresis donation of 2015

As for June, I probably won't get too much done, not with my 'turning-40' Idaho trip bearing down fast. It would be nice to get started with Pass 5, finish the craft project I'm in, and perhaps a little more. June also brings the blessings of Farmer's Markets again, and trying out the aquatic fitness options I signed up for. Can't forget my wonderful raise and the fun of setting up a new budget!
