Odd August
Quite a month. First half was amazingly cool, second half scorchingly torrid. First half awful fast, second half dragged out a bit. Very close to finally reaching the finish line for my big guest room project that has taken far longer than I anticipated. Lots of other related craft projects kept popping up as well. Very pleased that I was able to get back into 'TFE' writing. So though my list doesn't look like much, I'm glad to have anything on it.

Aug 12 - Fifth apheresis donation of 2013
Aug 26 - Finished chapter 14 of 'TFE'
Aug 29 - Sixth apheresis donation of 2013

As for September, it will be busy and disjointed as well. First half will be whaling away at a TON of work with the long-dreaded BD project starting to get into full swing. (Thank God we got an outside consultant to help me out for a couple months!) And more coming upheaval on the job front I may be free to post about later. But the second half of the month I'll be staying away from work quite a while since my mom is coming to visit (and get to see my new place--can't believe it's been a year already since I moved here!). We're planning a short trip to Chicago, and I'm sure the time will just fly by as we do fun stuff and she catches up with friends.

Don't know how much writing I'll get done through all this, but it's a delight to know that fall is coming fast.

Yay Fall

Ofc it couldn't come before the AC broke - I figured well I am going to need the fan for the heater later and it appears to be getting hotter so replaced the fan - ofc it still didn't work so I called in a professional and spent another couple of hundred - he had a nice gizmo that told him my new fan was good but the fan capacitor was burnt out - thankfully he tells me the old fan might have needed replacing to save some of my ego - ofc I wasn't going back through swapping it back to see if I had wasted my time nor pay for him to do so

So I am going to convince myself that I saved some money half fixing the unit

So your off whaling Lake Superior Whaling Co. huh?

Hope you get time to write

Isn't that how it works? Though I suppose the AC guy is less busy/easier to schedule at the end of the summer. My air mattress I sleep on in the summertime just warped, but I'm hoping I can put off buying a replacement until next year. Though that means I'll likely forget about it until the first heat wave of 2014!

Hopefully replacing the fan means you're set with both for a while.

Sometimes it feels like that! Individual, Annuity, and especially Broker-Dealer are all huge whales, and then there are all the little day-to-day fish of upgrades, security requests, meetings, things breaking, that keep me from even attacking those whales too vigorously. Then they just get BIGGER.

Thanks!

You have been very much in my prayers with all you are going through.
