Green Dragon
It is a delight to get to do another bragging post about another wonderfully talented creative person. In this case, I'm posting about Sarah Jestin and her first published book (through Double Dragon Publishing), Green Dragon. I wish I could have done this post sooner, but it came out in paperback while my mom was visiting, of course...good old Murphy's Law!

My own copy!

Green Dragon is a fun fantasy story aimed at female young adult readers. I got to enjoy it last year when Sarah asked me to be a beta reader, and I'm beyond flattered to get a mention in her acknowledgements--I hardly feel I helped that much!

I'm delighted with her success in getting this story published, after all the legwork of applying to various publishing houses, making revisions, and so forth. I wish her the best in getting her sci-fi published as well some day, and I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel, White Dragon, which is currently scheduled to be released in 2012.

So, for anyone interested, please check out the Green Dragon page. It's currently available as both e-book and paperback.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

And you helped A LOT. This was the first story I ever wrote and it had a lot of warts. Thanks to you, I got rid of a bunch I hadn't even seen, even after all the rewrites.

I hope you like this version...

I liked the new scenes that weren't there in the draft I read (poor little Meeryle!), and I'm very curious where you're taking them. I really enjoyed the reread as well, it went too fast!

(I did spot two typos in the printed version, not sure if you want to know about them or not... =P)
